Depression and Anxiety: Help and Treatment

A Practical Guide to Feeling Good

I know what it’s like to feel constantly depressed, anxious and exhausted.

For nearly two decades, I suffered from depression, anxiety, fatigue, addictions, and a sense of hopelessness. Due to the ignorance and fear that surrounds mental illness, I suffered needlessly for many years before seeking treatment.

I was unhappy for many years, but I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I just felt “broken”.

Life doesn’t have to be this way.

The sooner you realize that you are ill, and that there is treatment available, the sooner you can start to feel better, and get back to living and enjoying your life. Once you’ve decided that enough is enough, and decide to take control of your health, you’ve begun the road to recovery.

Recovery is a lifestyle.

This blog will cover several aspects of recovery, with a priority on integrating the best ideas about nutrition, exercise, supplements, herbs, mental and emotional health into your lifestyle.

I’m not a doctor; I’m just someone who’s been sick with depression and anxiety, and doesn’t want to waste another minute of my life in that hell. If my experiences can give you some ideas about how you can manage your own illness, I’ve done my job. But don’t take my word for it–run any new herb/supplement/exercise/etc. by your doctor and then try it for yourself. You are the final judge as to whether something will help, hurt, or just do nothing.

Good luck. Never give up.
